Charity event!

Terri Grimes is the author of Now I Lay Me Down to Die and she is donating 100% of the proceeds to the Lindsay McKeever Care Fund.

Mother to five year old and 3 month old sons, Twenty-six year old Lindsay McKeever’s life changed forever on January 21st 2012 when she was hospitalized with toxic shock syndrome. With her blood pressure at 30/50, oxygen level 50%, kidneys incomplete failure and in a coma, she was given little chance of surviving. But miraculously one week later, against all odds, she came out of her coma and slowly made her way back to the living. Because most of her organs began to shut down during the week she was in the coma, her hands and feet turned black and she had to have all her fingers and toes amputated. She was released from the hospital March 13th and has to have care 24 hours a day. She is unable to walk, or take care of herself in any way, not to mention the care she needs for her children. With no insurance Lindsay needs help to pay for physical therapy to learn to walk again and to do small things like feed herself, etc. A care fund has been set up for her by US Bank in Iowa and a paypal account for donations. She shares her amazing journey on a facebook page set up for her called “Lindsay McKeever Care Fund.”

Now thru April 30th, paranormal romance author Terri Grimes will be donating 100% of the proceeds from both the print and ebook version of Now I Lay Me Down To Die to the Lindsay McKeever care fund. Help a deserving young woman and have a good read at the same time.

Pass the word! Thanks!!!

The Hot Bods Series Tour-The spotlight is on Fool Me Once by Lacey Wolfe

The Hot Bods Series

By lacey Wolfe

It's always been my dream to be a writer. Ever sense I was a child, creating stories has been a passion of mine. I have always said that one day I would be an author. Finally, I am working on this dream of mine. I have two children who have been keeping me busy for the past 7 years. My youngest is starting pre-k this year and I have more time for me and to concentrate on what I want out of this life. So I am picking up pen and paper...well I guess keyboard and screen, and working on this dream. It isn't going to be easy. There will be many ups and downs, but I am ready. I know this dream will come true, my mom told me so, "You can be anything you want to be when you grow up." Thanks mom, here goes nothing!

Fool Me Once by Lacey Wolfe

Book #1 in the Hot Bods Series

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…

Drew is the last person Skylar wanted to see across from her at a local bar. A month ago he'd wined and dined her all weekend, leaving her feeling fully in love, but then she awoke alone in an empty hotel room and she hadn't heard from him since.

The weekend Drew spent with Skylar was phenomenal. There had never been anyone who made him feel as complete as she did. He shouldn't have disappeared, he should have called, but his feelings for her scared him, so he distanced himself. But when he saw her again, he knew he couldn't stay away any longer.

Skylar's determined not to give Drew another chance to hurt her, but he's just as determined to win her back. Although it won't be easy, he's up to the challenge, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal.

I really enjoyed this novella! I started reading Fool Me Once in the late afternoon and the story just sucked me right in and wouldn't let go until the end. Needless to say, my children are very lucky they actually got fed that evening, but hey, I can stir a pot with one hand while holding my ereader with the other! I just love it when a story is so well written that the reader is emotionally drawn into it. You can "feel" the attraction between Drew & Skylar. There were times I wanted to dope-slap Drew for making his stupid manstakes (yes I spelled that correctly..a mistake is what a woman makes occaisionally...a manstake is what men make often in relationships -JMO) BTW, Hot Bods is not the name used just to describe Drew's hawtness, its also the name of the local gym where Skylar works and will be the connecting theme throughout the series. This book is a sexy, steamy, fast-paced read & I can't wait to pick up book # 2...

More Than Useful by Lacey Wolfe

Book #2 in the Hot Bods series

Can Amy settle for just a little fun?

Amy and Adam have been flirting for months. Every week on Tuesday and Thursdays Adam visits Amy’s Bakery, Sweet Muffins. And each week she hopes that maybe one of them will get the courage to ask the other one out.

That day finally comes when Adam shows up unexpectedly just to ask Amy out. She is thrilled and he is terrified already by the feelings he has for her. He tells her from the beginning that he isn’t looking for anything serious. Just a little fun.

Amy agrees, even though she isn’t sure that is what she wants. She does her best to play it cool, but Adam is sending so many mixed signals that she can’t figure out what he wants, that she finally gets fed up and walks away.

Will Adam be able to figure out what his heart desires before it’s too late and he loses Amy?
